Palma Nova, one of Davie's largest mobile home parks, plans to close within six months, according to town officials.
The park is home to more than 900 families, many on fixed incomes.
"Given the current lack of comparable replacement housing that is affordable to the residents of Palma Nova, I am gravely concerned about the impact that this will have on the lives of these residents, on Davie's workforce and on the local schools," Shirley Taylor-Prakelt, the town's housing director, wrote in a Monday email to the Town Council.
The park's owner, Austin Forman, must comply with the town's relocation assistance ordinance approved earlier this year, she noted.
Councilman Bryan Caletka said a park manager told him notices will be going out Tuesday morning. The park plans to file a relocation strategy with the town this week, Caletka added.
