Edward Hicks January 10, 2005 Dear Community Owner/Manager A proposed change in land use has occurred for a m/h land lease community which is located in Southeast Florida. This community has approximately 220 units, with an unknown number who desire relocation. The purpose of this inquiry is to identify communities which can potentially accept some or all of these displaced residents and their homes. Chapter 723 of the Florida Statutes provides for the relocation of homes in parks which have had a change in land use, to a park within a 50 mile radius of the existing community. Your community appears to be within this 50 mile radius. As a part of this process, the property owner has requested an inventory of existing home sites which may be available for residents homes. This is a request for your assistance in obtaining current information about your community for inclusion in the list of communities willing to accept residents homes to be displaced. A copy of a brief initial survey is enclosed. A non-response to filling out and sending back the survey will be interpreted as either no spaces available, or non-willingness to accept displaced homes.
